Three Barcode Poems - Kyle Flemmer

“Excerpted from a lengthier work, these three poems recreate the uniqueness and rigidity of barcodes using the similarly rigid, grid-like structure of the typewriter. Adhering to a requirement of 38 characters per line, including spaces, each poem features a unique code generated by letters per word and bracketed by identifiers. The poems were composed on a Remington Rand Deluxe Model 5.”
