Hesterglock Press is co-run by Sarer Scotthorne & Paul Hawkins. We started in 2013, publishing pamphlets & themed, pocket-sized poetry anthologies. In 2016 we began to use print-on-demand services, which enabled us to start publishing books (without any start-up capital or other middle-class finance model(s)) of mainly experimental poetry/creative artistic writing that cuts across forms. Poem Atlas is an exhibition platform and occasional publisher of books and object poems. Since its formation in October 2019, Poem Atlas has curated exhibitions of visual poetry, both online and in-gallery, in lively venues such as The Poetry Society’s Café and the Westminster Reference Library in London, and has showcased over 100 visual poems from UK and international poets. above/ground press is a poetry chapbook press that leans toward the avant-garde/experimental, producing upwards of eighty single-author chapbooks annually alongside the quarterly Touch the Donkey [a small poetry journal], G U E S T [a journal of guest editors] and The Peter F. Yacht Club, and the monthly online periodicities: a journal of poetry and poetics. Founded in July 1993, the press has produced over eleven hundred items to date.
