General:
All orders for books shall be processed and shipped within three working days (except for pre-orders – see below). The only exception to this will be if we are away, and in this case, we shall process the order as soon as we return.
Orders for merchandise are fulfilled by a third party, so processing and shipping times may vary depending on product ordered.
Please make sure all details are correct when ordering merchandise. As this is handled by a print on demand service, and fulfilment times vary, we cannot guarantee a time frame where we can make changes or cancel an order once placed.
Pre-orders shall be shipped on or before the official publication date. Payment is taken at time of ordering.
If you are ordering additional items with a pre-order, please let us know if you don’t mind waiting for your order to ship as one package when the pre-order launches. This saves us postage costs, packaging materials, and time.
Most book orders will be shipped by Royal Mail. These usually arrive in the UK 2-3 business days after posting, and 5-10 days for international orders – although this can be considerably longer. If you require your order more urgently, please contact us using the contact form on our homepage and we may be able to arrange something quicker, although there will be an additional charge for this.
As above, orders for merchandise are fulfilled by a third party. Shipping times may be up to 20 business days.
Please check shipping information carefully. Any orders returned to us due to incorrect shipping information shall be refunded less the shipping costs.
For international orders:
It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for any duties owed in the destination country. Any orders returned for non-payment of taxes shall be refunded less the shipping cost.
For large orders (more than four or five full-length books) we can often negotiate a better shipping price than displayed on our website. If this is the case, we shall refund the difference.
We appreciate that international shipping costs are quite high, however, we try to offer the best value we can. If you find our shipping costs too steep, and you don’t mind waiting 2-12 weeks for your order, contact us and we may be able to offer a more cost-effective option.
Damaged or missing orders:
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at penteractpress at gmail dot com, quoting your order number and photographs showing the damage to the items. This will enable us to make a claim with the shipping firm and organise a refund or replacement for the damaged items.
If you believe your order has gone missing, unless you have a tracking number, please wait six weeks from the order date before contacting us, as mail carriers will not consider an item missing until this time. Please contact us at penteractpress at gmail dot com quoting your order number and we shall arrange a refund or replacement.
Orders must be reported as damaged or missing within six months of the order date to enable us to arrange a refund or replacement. After this point, we are unable to raise a complaint with the shipping firm or print manufacturer.
